Best Practice Milking Course
FRS have been training milking operators on the best milking practices for over 30 years and are now bringing this course to farmers throughout the country with input from other industry experts, such as Teagasc, AHI and Kerry Group.
The course will deliver best practices in quality milking to farmers through a practical DVD and personal instruction in the milking parlour. This two day certified course is designed to develop the skills of the milker and to ensure that milkings are conducted to the highest quality standards.
The course will cover:
- Preparation for Milking
- The Milking Process
- Milk Quality
- Washing Up
- Drying Off
